I'm Kalan,

Welcome to Admire Media! Where inspiration and water collide! 
My passion is the ocean! It's interesting that I was actually born during Hurricane Elena on August 30, 1985. The barometric pressure sent to my Mom (and many other mothers) into labor that afternoon and I was literally born in the hallway of Lee Memorial Hospital. 

From the years forward Mom would take me out to Fort Myers Beach and we would body surf the storms. You know the time when the news stations are on telling people to stay away from the beaches! 

I haven’t lived a conventional life. It is sometimes like a storm, but thankfully I have a love for the Lord and it seems that He always steared and directed my path. 

I’ve never been able to truly find my way in the workforce and I’ve always been pulled back to the energy of the ocean time after time. 

Inspiration

I have spent many years in California along the beautiful coast and Santa Cruz area, etc. etc. But of course, my home is in Southwest Florida, which gives the beauty from Sanibel and Captiva and of course Naples and Fort Myers Beach, which unfortunately was the ground zero for hurricane Ian.

Techniques

My processes are unique and distinctive. I have been a believer in the GoPro camera for many years and have worked with them as they have also grown and evolved.
